Combine the Victorious and Blank Cinema May 30th
A Daring Night of Entertainment Delight with our favourite dream-wave synth-poppers Combine the Victorious, as well as performances by Marc Wild and Badgerchild. Thursday May 30th at The Media Club. For those of you that live in the Main St. area and are unfamiliar on how to best approach the Media Club it is advisable to take the Skytrain to Chinatown Station, and having arrived, walk North on Dunsmuir to Cambie then take a left walking West until just before Georgia. It is a half-hour walk from Main and Broadway and a 6 minute cab ride. Which means you could decide to come to the Media Club to watch Blank Cinema play at approximately 10:54pm and still arrive in time to hear us play the first notes of “Destroy Together” which would most likely be the first song of our set. Having had two drinks while leaning at the bar and watching us perform, you could then be comfortably back in bed by 12:15am realistically, with plenty of rest to wake up fresh for your work the next day and talk about the great live band you saw last night to your co-workers. And from the $60 you took out of the ATM before you went out, you would still have $10 and change to have a quality Friday lunch at work to discuss the particulars of the show you saw.
